David Carson's
Biography
David is pastor of
the First Century Church, Metrotown, and is secretary of the
Vancouver Pastors' Prayer Fellowship. He is chair of
'Vancouver At Prayer' and gives leadership to prayer for
'Hope-Vancouver'. David has served with 'Canada In Prayer' from
1997 - 2002 and has built good relationships with other national
prayer leaders.
In 2002, David helped to organize the 'G8 Prayer
Summit' in Calgary and also attended the International Prayer
Leaders Consultation in Cape Town. He took over the helm of IFC
in January of 2003 from Peter and Joy Wyns when they moved into
the States.
Currently, David is heading up the national prayer
track for the EFC's 'Celebration 2005' evangelistic initiative. He is a pioneer who believes God is a prayer hearing
and a prayer answering God. David has been married over 35 years
to Beth who recently authored the biography: 'Pastor Bob - A
Statesman of Prayer For Canada.'
